To Heck with the Bell

Golf Tournament   June 14, 2016

At the Chinook Golf Course 17 golfers got together to play the To Heck with the Bell golf tournament from last September.  The day started out sunny with the wind picking up speed as the afternoon progressed.  The clouds were dark and ominous, but the rain held off until supper.

There were 24 Superannuates, family and friends that came out and enjoyed a delicious chicken breast supper with all the trimmings.

The prizes were given out at the supper.  They are as follows:

1.     Top Male Golfer-        Jim Bobick

2.     Top Female Golfer-     Heather Denning

3.     Closest to the Pin-       Carson Robinson

4.     Longest Putt-                Carson Robinson

5.     There were many draw Prizes given out as well.  The prizes consisted of Gift Certificates for $20.00, water bottles filled with golf balls and tees, two wine bottles in a carrying case, sleeves of balls and SGI bags with rain ponchos, sleeves for cans, and a  stainless steel hot beverage coffee cup.

We would like to say a big Thank You to Joyce Hoffman,­­­­­­ our President for coming out and taking the registrations for the golfers, and for arranging for the delicious supper we ate after golf.

We said a farewell to Brian O’Hara.  He will be moving to Saskatoon in the summer.  We wished him all the best in his new chapter and his new home.

The day is always fun when it is spent with Colleagues and friends.
